Seastead floating house is not designed for sailing since the idea is about living on the water. Once moored it stays at the place.  Of course, if you wish you can add external engine.

Yes. Our floating houses come with equipped kitchen and bathroom. You can of course decorate to match your personal taste. It is your home after all!

Unfortunately, the floating house plan cannot be changed due to technical installation of infrastructural systems of a floating house. However, you are free to decorate to match your personal taste.

Our floating house is a four-season house and may be purchased as a permanent residence or as a holiday home. It is totally up to you.

Yes. Seastead floating house is constructed with materials supporting all weather conditions and is meant to be four-seasons house. Its excellent insulation and heating systems will guarantee perfect temperature on both hot and cold days.

Our floating houses comes in different options. Standard version includes on-grid systems. That means you would require to arrange for electricity, water, sewage connection, etc. If you wish, you can decide to equip it with all necessary systems for off-grid locations. That would include fresh and grey water tanks, outboard water pumps, grey water treatment system (for saving water consumption and decreasing grey water production), air-to-water heat pump, Webasto heating system, off-grid energy installation (PPV panels, system based on Growatt intelligent batteries, 5kV inverter, Proton backup generator in acoustic insulation).

Once your order is confirmed it will take from 1-3 months to construct your floating house, depending on the floating house type and chosen additional systems.

You can choose your delivery place anywhere. Please keep in mind though that we do have our warehouse placed in Poland. It means, the cost of international transport will increase in direct proportion to the distance.

Seastead floating house is delivered in a few pieces on a truck equipped with a crane. We assembly it directly on water.

Due to the size and specificity of transport, we will be able to calculate the delivery cost only upon receipt of information about delivery address.

We need 40% advance payment to start preparing your house. Then financing plan is splited in 20% rates. You pay last 20% when your house is no water ready and checked.

The risk is minimalized additionally by being secured against one of the Seastead floating house that you invest in – you know which floating house it is and you can check its production stage and readiness. An unsecured loan is a loan which does not have any collateral in place, such as land or apartment, and is solely based on a borrower’s credit history and potential ability to repay. Secured loans have assets as collateral, so that if a borrower cannot repay the loan, asset sales process will start. Therefore, the risk of losing the money is minimized. Seastead investment plan is based on a property backed loan.

Yes, the interest rate paid by Seastead is fixed throughout the loan period. The interest rate varies depending on the loan amount.

You will start earning interest after the required documentation and creation of pledge is completed. Our investment offer includes annual payment frequency with a fixed interest rate. There are different options for mooring, among others: canal, river, marina mooring etc. Which type of mooring you choose and where exactly you choose to moor a floating house is largely dependent on the size and type of your unit, finances and your preferences. Don't forget to make sure whether there is option to connect to water, waste collection and power on your plot. This will have influence on floating house equipment.

That depends on the type of your floating house. Seastead standard unit has installations ready for on-grid locations. It means you would indeed need to arrange for connection of utilities. On the other hand, we provide you with a choice of off-grid systems that would assure floating house independence.

Water 😊. Yes – at least you need water. Our floating houses are registered as a yachting space so if you have any place on 40 cm deep water – you’ve just found yourself a spot for your floating house.

Seastead floating houses has specially designed floating platforms that assures additional stability and durability of the whole structure, so you can live comfortably.

It is possible to move your floating house to different mooring location. You have to keep in mind though, that it comes with a significant cost due to special needs during the transport and uplift. On short distances with water depth more than 0,4 m you can also swim your floating house.

Yes, unless specified otherwise by a local regulation of your place of mooring.

Because of the legal tenure and the fact that you will have no interest in the land on which the floating house is situated, lenders will not provide finance.
